About BASIC 2025

The Business Aviation Safety & Innovation Conference from 27th to 28th October 2025 in Brussels

BASIC isn’t just a conference. It’s a movement.
It’s a place for raw conversations, real people, and shared solutions. No corporate fluff, no one-way speeches. Just shared insight, critical thinking, human-centric leadership, and forward motion.
And while the 2025 edition will bring new topics and ideas, the heart of the conference remains the same:
→ It’s run by the community, for the community.
→ The focus is safety, but not the checkbox kind.
→ And the goal is clear: build a safer, more resilient, more human business aviation industry.

Mark your calendar and be ready to innovate, collaborate, and lead the way at BASIC 2025!

With the full support of EASA, GAMA and IBAC

Tribe kick-offs

BASIC 2025 Tribes

The heart of BASIC: parallel breakout sessions where participants join their tribe, debate openly, and start building action points for the future.

  • Living Safety Culture - how do we make safety more than a slogan?
  • Ramp Safety Matters - how do we bring SMS to the ground?
  • Human Resilience - how do we care for the people behind the roles?
  • Digital Trust & Cyber Safety - how do we secure aviation in the age of data?
  • Operational Security - what new threats are shaping our flight paths?
  • Occurrence Data Alliance - how do we turn reports into collective learning? Europe still lacks a shared pool of occurrence data for business aviation. This tribe will bring together operators, manufacturers, associations, and authorities to design a joint EBAA/GAMA-led initiative that aims at transforming occurrence reporting into actionable lessons for the entire sector.
